FAQs

Pricing for custom picture framing depends on two factors: The dimensions of the art and the materials you choose to frame it with. We have over 5,000 frame samples to choose from, all varying in price. We also carry thousands of acid-free and museum matboards available in all hues, textures, leathers and even suede. In addition, we carry all of the protective glass options to ensure your art is protected for years to come. We are happy to provide approximate estimates over the phone or email to our clients!

Though we love to satisfy our customer’s requests, we are an exceptionally busy custom frame shop, and custom framing does take time. On average, we have a 2-3 week turn-around time. Customer orders are also completed in the order that they were received. If a customer needs their frame completed before our normal turnaround time, we do our best to accommodate their requests. However, a rush fee may be applied to any order needed before our normal turn-around time. We do this because it may require over-time from our staff. Most of the time, it all depends on what you select  – and whether or not the materials need to be ordered. If we have the materials in stock, we can turn your custom frame order around much quicker. We also might have a readymade frame that fits your needs and your timeline. We will do whatever we can to get your item(s) completed according to your schedule!

Yes! The money you spend at Let Us Frame It stays local. Local businesses are the backbone of every community, and we are proud to be a part of the local Orlando economy!

There is a big misconception in the framing industry that you will spend more at a local framing business than you will at some place like  Michael’s or Hobby Lobby. We have been told by numerous customers that our prices came in much lower than the quotes they received at the aforementioned chain stores. We encourage anyone who has a question about framing prices to give us a call. You won’t be disappointed. Plus, when you frame with Let Us Frame It, you are not only receiving over 40 years of framing experience, but you’re also supporting a local business!

All of our work is done onsite.

If you have a project that involves components from other vendors we are happy to facilitate coordination with them prior to creating the finished product.

Just as the price for custom framing a picture depends on the dimensions of the piece and the materials you choose to frame it with, the same is true for jerseys. Sports jerseys can be tricky because they come in all different shapes and sizes depending on the sport. Just like paintings, photography and prints, jerseys can also be framed many different ways ranging from a single acid-free mat to as many as three acid-free mats. You can include photos, medals, pins and patches within the jersey frame. Protective glass options are always encouraged with any signed memorabilia as well.

We frame over 100 jerseys a year so we have lots of experience maintaining the integrity of the jersey while persevering it at the same time. We use clear staples to attached the jersey before it is framed so we don’t use any harmful glues or tapes to secure the jersey in the frame.

Diplomas are important documents that should be preserved – and you worked hard to earn it so you should be proud to show it off! We have a big selection of diploma frames to choose from. It’s always best to bring your diploma in for an accurate quote. If you want to include anything else (like a photo, additional graduation honors, cords, etc.) in the frame with the diploma you should bring those in, too, because it affects pricing as well as the design.

As with everything we need the dimensions of the piece to give you an accurate quote to get a canvas stretched. We offer two ways of stretching a canvas – gallery wrapped or regular. With both options you can choose to have it wrapped with  ½”, 1”, 1 ½”  and 2” depth.

When it’s gallery wrapped, the art stretches around the unfinished wood frame and the staples are in the back of the frame. Once stretched it can be wired and hung on the wall without a frame or you can enhance it with a floater frame from our large selection. (If you’re interested in gallery wrapping, there needs to be enough canvas to be able to wrap it around the stretching frame.)

With regular stretching, the staples are attached to the edge of the unfinished wood stretching frame so they are visible. It is recommended that you select a cap frame to enhance it and to cover the staples.

Our computerized Wizard Z1 CMC mat cutter can cut precise mats quickly and accurately with complex designs and multiple openings. It allows us to add other decorative designs to your mats, too, like pen, debossing, and vinyl cut features.
